1986 Constitutional Convention
Journal of the Proceedings of the Constitutional Convention of Rhode Island, 1933. The constitutional convention approved April 7, 1933 (public law chapter 2014) convened for the limited purpose of addressing proposal of amendment to the United States Constitution repealing the 18th Amendment (Prohibition). Amendment unanimously approved in convention, May 8, 1933. Records consist of two signed copies of the published convention proceedings (30 pp.) and one signed resolution of that body to the Rhode Island Legislature.
