Abstract: The Special Commission to Study the Entire Field of Education reports consist of six (6) reports completed during the years 1967 through 1969 documenting past trends and projected future ones for education at all levels in the state of Rhode Island.

Scope and Content: This series contains six (6) reports completed during the years 1967 through 1969 by the Special Commission to Study the Entire Field of Education. There are two (2) copies of the "Education in Rhode Island: A Plan for the Future: Final Report to the General Assembly- June 1968" report with one copy from Accession 2012-29 and one copy from C#00113. The reports include: • "Tentative Recommendations: The Rhode Island Comprehensive Foundation and Enhancement State Aid Program for Education (Chapter 27, P.L. 1960, as amended)", January 1967 • "Interim Progress Report of the Special Commission to Study the Entire Field of Education to the General Assembly", March 1967 • "The Rhode Island State School Aid Program: A Report to the Legislature from the Special Commission to Study the Entire Field of Education, Report No. 1", March 1967 • "Population and Employment Prospects for Rhode Island 1965-2000: A Collection of Technical Papers", April 1967 • "Education in Rhode Island: A Plan for the Future: Final Report to the General Assembly- June 1968" • "Nonpublic Education in Rhode Island: Alternatives for the Future" by Henry M.
