As part of the test fire pumpers lined up along the Woonasquatucket River on Promenande Street, Kinsley Avenue and in Pershing Square. At 1230 p.m. 89 fire pumpers sent up a wall of water from the river (est. 1,000,000 gallons) to put out an imaginary fire from the heat of the city.
