Corporal Frank (Brad) Zinni was deployed in WWII deployment in the Pacific from 1942-1945. Brad Zinni, a resident of Barrington and Warren, was a first-generation Italian-American in Rhode Island. He married Lena Rossi, also a first-generation Italian-American, on May 31, 1941. With the end of World War II he returned home and the couple had two daughters, Sandra (Zinni) Bisceglio and Nancy (Zinni) Telford. He passed away April 26, 1990 before he and Lena they were able to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.

Lena Zinni sent this "Hi Soldier" billfold to husband, Corporal Frank (Brad) Zinni while he was stationed in the Pacific during World War II, c. 1942-1945. The newlyweds had been married less than a year when Brad was deployed.
